Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists
Member of the Melanoma Study Group
Member of the British Uro-oncology Group
I attended St. Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 1999. Having completed my Clinical Oncology training in Cambridge, London and Guildford, I took up my Consultant post in Norwich in June 2010. My research fellowship at the Royal Surrey County Hospital provided extensive experience in prostate brachytherapy techniques, as well as the opportunity to research the global effects of hormonal therapy on men’s health.
As a Clinical Oncologist I am able to offer a wide range of drug and radiation-based therapies to my patients, both in the early and advanced stages of cancer. For all of my areas of sub-specialty, I work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
Having left Norfolk for University and medical training, I am pleased now to return and enjoy all it has to offer. I am particularly a fan of running, tennis, and the coast. Having trained as a classical pianist, I now enjoy playing the keyboards in a hospital rock band!
