Professional profile:
Dr Garioch graduated from Glasgow University in 1983 and subsequently completed her general professional training in internal medicine before entering higher specialist training in dermatology.

Dr Garioch was registrar in dermatology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary for three years. In 1991, she was appointed to the post of senior registrar in dermatology at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London. Whilst at St Mary's Hospital she developed special interests in blistering skin disorders and psoriasis.

In 1996, Dr Garioch was appointed as consultant dermatologist at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. At Norwich, in addition to seeing patients with general dermatological problems she is responsible for the phototherapy service. Dr Garioch is the Chair of the Specialist Skin MDT at NNUHFT. In 1999, she was awarded the degree of MD for her research on dermatitis herpetiformis.
Personal profile:
Dr Garioch is married and has two young children. She is interested in French language and culture. She also enjoys "keep fit" when time allows.
