I find Medical Oncology a fascinating and challenging speciality and I am dedicated to a constant and continuing battle in order to balance and improve both physical treatment and supportive care. I am interested in patient related clinical and laboratory research as this will give me a better understanding of the treatments I apply in my oncological practice. It will also give me the chance to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment. I constantly publish or present my clinical research and organise educational sessions for other health care providers involved in the management of cancer treatment. Furthermore, I am dedicated to the constant drive necessary to make a considerable difference to the health and quality of life of my patients.
I have competed in chess, cycling, skiing, lawn tennis and play squash. I was National Champion in 15000 meters running - Junior and Senior class. I am an advanced PADI qualified SCUBA diver.
