Our digestive system provides us with the nutrients and water we need from our food before eliminating toxins from our body. That’s why we need our bowels to be in good health.
It can be difficult to diagnose many problems that affect the digestive system, including conditions such as Crohn’s disease, coeliac/celiac disease and colitis as well as cancer. We offer a full set of tests for these conditions as well as treatments for painful conditions such as haemorrhoids.

To book an appointment with The Montefiore Hospital please call 01273 828 148 if you are a self-funding patient or 01273 828 030 for insured bookings. Alternatively, fill out and send an enquiry form and we will contact you shortly. Please be aware, a GP referral is always required for insured bookings.

Our modern, clean and comfortable hospital has its own physiotherapy team, on-site imaging facilities, a pathology lab and pharmacy so we can take care of you every step of the way in your treatment.
Our services are available to everyone – whether or not you are privately insured. If you are paying for your own treatment, we offer one-off private hospital treatment, with a fixed price agreed in advance. We also offer some services to NHS patients on behalf of the NHS.
