Professional profile:
Following my basic medical training in India I have undergone speciality training in Urology in the United Kingdom until my appointment as Consultant in 1996.I practice General Urology but have a sub speciality interest in Urological Oncology and Laser surgery.I provided general and cancer services in Urology for the population of Wakefield and Pontefract district.I have research interest in Urological cancer and I conduct and take part in multi centre cancer trials under the auspices of Medical Research Council and EORTC.I am a full member of EORTC GU group, BAUS section of Urological Oncology and Chairman of the Urological Yorkshire Cancer Network.
