Professional profile:
I have been providing services at BUPA Methley Park Hospital as a physician with interests in general medicine, diabetes and endocrinology. I trained as a registrar in endocrinology at Leeds General Infirmary and then a research fellow at University College London.

In 1991 I was awarded BDA-ICI transatlantic fellowship to work in the USA at National Institute of Health in diabetes research. I returned to the UK as senior registrar in 1993 and was appointed to a Consultant post in 1996.

I have had extensive training and experience in most aspects of endocrinology and diabetes. I am still keen to see the patients and provide expert advise on general medicine issues.
Personal profile:
I feel I have a very friendly and approachable personality that enables me to be open and accessible by my patients and staff who work with me. I am a strong advocate of patients beliefs and choices in the practice of medicine.

I like all sports and especially cricket and football.

I have three children aged eight, twelve and fourteen who keep me young at heart. I am a very dedicated teacher and believe there is always room for improvement.
