Professor Amir Al-Din trained in Neurology in the UK at the Midland Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He has been a consultant neurologist since 1983 and has practiced in different parts of the world including the Middle East - where he held the Chair of Neurology, New Zealand and UK. He has been a consultant neurologist at Pinderfields General Hospital, Wakefield since 1995. He has been running an active general neurology and headache service.
