As an acupuncturist, Ms Kaur maintains high professional standards and provides a safe and empathic approach to treating the root of a problem along with the symptoms. Ms Kaur is adept at working with complex cases, undertaking research, creatively applying theory to practice and is dextrous at developing and linking theoretical threads from clinical experience.
She has a strong commitment to continuing development of her professional expertise. At post graduate level, amongst other areas of practice she has studied paediatric acupuncture in Europe and trained in obstetric acupuncture. As a Registered Social Worker, Ms Kaur also has extensive experience in working with children and adults within a therapeutic context.
Ms Kaur’s upbringing was influenced by energetic based medicine, as used by her ancestors and relatives from India. This has reinforced the depth of her conceptual understanding of Chinese medicine.
