Mr Ullas Raghavan received his medical degree from the University of Kerala, India. He received his postgraduate MS (ENT) degree from Jiwaji University, India. He became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1999.
Mr Raghavan received higher surgical training at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, Derby Royal Infirmary and Leicester Royal Infirmary. In 2005 he received full accreditation from the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training by the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges. He was awarded a Fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 2005 and received advanced specialist training as a clinical fellow in Facial Plastic and Cosmetic surgery from renowned centres in France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and the US.
As part of the fellowship he passed the examination conducted by the American Board Of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2005 as an European candidate.
Apart from Facial Plastic Surgery, he also has a special interest in Rhinology. He has gained advanced training in Rhinology, particularly in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. In 2006 he was awarded a travelling Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and received advanced training in Endoscopic sinus surgery from Jekei University, Japan.
Mr Ullas Raghavan has given numerous presentations at national and international meetings on the topic of rhinology and facial plastic surgery. He has published papers and written book chapters on the nose and allied areas.
In 2005, Mr. Raghavan was appointed as a Consultant in Ear, Nose & Throat surgery with special interest in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery in Doncaster and Bassettlaw Hospital NHS Trust.
Mr. Raghavan consults and operates privately at Shelton House and Park Hill Hospital, Doncaster, Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield and Oaklands Hospital Manchester.
