A 1999 graduate of the University of Milan (Italy), Mr Cervellione trained in paediatric surgery at the University of Verona (Italy) before joining Manchester (UK) as a fellow in paediatric surgery and urology. In 2007 he was appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Urologist at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. In 2009 Mr Cervellione attained a 12-month sabbatical from his NHS consultant post which allowed him to move to the United States and obtain the Paediatric Urology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Mr Cervellione has published over 30 articles in major international scientific journals and presented more then 50 abstracts in the UK, Europe and United States. He is the principal investigator for the European Society of Paediatric Urology study on the “Incidence Of The Bladder Exstrophy Complex In Europe” and for the “Randomized Prospective Controlled Study On The Effect Of Surgery On Fertility In Adolescent With Varicocele”. Mr Cervellione is also a reviewer for Journal of Paediatric Urology, Journal of Urology and British Journal of Urology.
Mr Cervellione is married with 3 children and usually spends his "free time" changing nappies and collecting toys from the floor.
