Mr Stuttard began his studies in Greater Manchester in Podiatric Medicine, before continuing on to surgical training at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and a foot and ankle fellowship in Seattle. Through out his career he has continued to develop his Podiatric (foot and ankle) surgical techniques predominantly with training in the United States. In particular Mr Stuttard has developed his skills in flat foot surgery, Hallux Valgus surgery and implants for flat foot.
Mr Stuttard developed the first dedicated foot and ankle service in an accute trust over twenty years ago, this has rapidly developed in to a centre of excellence attracting patients from all over the North West and the UK. Mr Stuttard recently retired from his NHS post at the Pennine Acute NHS Foundation Trust as the Clinical Surgical Lead in Foot and Ankle Surgery. Mr Stuttard has chosen to move his practice to a Private Hospital allowing him to see private, NHS and self funding patients.
Mr Stuttard has a particular expertise in bunion surgery, revision foot surgery, flat foot surgery, a full range foot and ankle surgery and medico legal. He holds regular clinics at Spire Manchester Hospital.
