Professional profile:
Dr Horner is one of the few UK cardiologists to have trained at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, where coronary angiography and coronary artery bypass grafting were developed. When Dr Horner trained there for 18 months in interventional cardiology, coronary angioplasty and stenting the Cleveland Clinic was considered to be the USA’s best cardiac unit.

He also has extensive experience of general internal medicine dating back to 1984, which was gained in many of London’s top teaching hospitals.
