Dr Mohanraj is based at the Greater Manchester Neurosciences Centre at Salford Royal (formerly Hope) hospital, where he runs the regional epilepsy service for Greater Manchester. He also conducts general neurology clinics in University Hospital South Manchester (Wythenshawe and Whithington hospitals) and sees neurology ward consults at Wythenshawe hospital.
Dr Mohanraj trained at the University of Kerala, India and qualified in 1995. He has been working in the UK since 1999. After acquiring the membership of the Royal College of Physicians, he worked in the neurology department at the Walton Centre in Liverpool, before moving to the Epilepsy Unit, University of Glasgow. He has published several research papers, review articles and book chapters relating to epilepsy. He was awarded PhD in 2006.
Dr Mohanraj completed his specialist training in Manchester and was appointed as consultant neurologist with special interest in epilepsy in 2008.
