Peter Norburn qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1979, with training posts around Greater Manchester and after 3 years in General Medicine obtained full Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London). Following 6 years Manchester Radiology training rotation, with particular interest in interventional vascular work, he obtained his Consultant post at Trafford and Altrincham Hospitals in 1989.Initial clinical interests were lung cancer and biopsy techniques, together with genito-urinary practice and prostate biopsies.
In recent years he has gained in-depth experience in musculo-skeletal imaging with particular interests in ultrasound guided tendon/joint injections and treatments.
