Professional profile:
Following graduation from Newcastle upon Tyne University in 1991, Dr Kellett pursued general medical training in Newcastle upon Tyne and Middlesborough. He then completed specialist training in neurology at the Walton Centre of neurology and neuro-surgery in Liverpool.

His clinical interests include general neurology and epilepsy, but he has particular expertise in the management of movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease and dystonia. He runs a botulinum toxin clinic for the treatment of cervical dystonia, blepharospasm and related conditions.

Dr Kellett is part of the multidisciplinary team that assesses and treats movement disorders using functional neuro-surgery, in particular, the use of deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease.

Personal profile:
Dr Kellett has two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family and has been a keen cricketer and footballer but has now reluctantly retired and is hoping to find time to improve his golf skills. He enjoys yachting and kite buggying.
