Following graduation from medical school, Dr Sein undertook basic postgraduate training in Psychiatry in Royal Edinburgh and affiliated hospitals, and higher training in Psychiatry in Manchester. During his postgraduate training and following his appointment as a Consultant in General Psychiatry in 2007, he has developed expertise in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of wide range of psychiatric disorders in working age. He also completed research in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He has also developed special interest in Bipolar Affective Disorder and Neuropsychiatry.Dr Sein is also actively involved in audit, research, and teaching and training of undergraduates and postgraduates.He is approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act (England & Wales) 1983.
Dr Sein is married with 2 children and his interests include travel, music and swimming.
