I was appointed as Consultant Physician in General Medicine and Respiratory Medicine in 1990 and I now work at Trafford General Hospital, Altrincham General Hospital, Stretford Memorial Hospital and Spire Manchester Hospital. I have many years of experience as a consultant in the care of patients with a wide range of medical conditions. My experience across the field of general medicine is a considerable aid particularly when diagnosis is not initially clear.
I am an honorary lecturer in Medicine at the University of Manchester, as well as an examiner for the Royal Colleges of Physicians in London and Edinburgh.
Having provided specialist respiratory services for many years I also have extensive publications in the field of respiratory disease and I am a member of the British Thoracic Society.
