Dr Annice Mukherjee is Consultant Endocrinologist at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (Hope) and Honorary Lecturer in Medicine and Neuroscience at the University of Manchester. She graduated from the University of Manchester in 1992. Working in Manchester and London she completed an MSc at King’s College London and an MD thesis at the University of Manchester. Her MD focus was the quality of life and immune function consequences of severe pituitary disease. Dr Mukherjee now leads the thyroid, adolescent endocrine and chronic fatigue services at Hope Hospital. She runs a dedicated pituitary clinic and in her endocrine clinics she provides other specialist management including treatment of the menopause, other female and male reproductive and adrenal problems, weight management, osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency and hyperparathyroidism. Dr Mukherjee leads post-graduate medical training for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Medical Weight Management at Hope hospital. Dr Mukherjee has won a number of awards and invitations to lecture at international Endocrine conferences and has published extensively in key endocrine journals.
Dr Mukherjee enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her precious leisure time and loves to travel. To keep body and mind healthy the she practices yoga.
