Dr Zermansky's NHS work is spent at Hope Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He runs a regional headache clinic at Hope Hospital, a neuro-ophthalmology clinic as well as seeing general neurology inpatients and outpatients.

Dr Zermansky trained at Birmingham University qualifying in 1994. He went on to work in London and then Manchester where he obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998 (MRCP).  Subsequently, he spent time researching gene therapy for Parkinson’s disease at Manchester University and Atypical Parkinsonian disorders, particularly PSP, at Newcastle University.

Dr Zermansky completed his  specialist neurology training at Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre (GMNC), developing additional special interests in Headache disorders and neuro-ophthalmology.
