Jennie Taylor, lead dietetic specialist for bariatric (weight loss) patients at Spire Manchester Hospital, provides pre and post operative support to patients having weight loss surgery. She also provides support to people wishing to lose weight through non operative weight loss programmes at the hospital.
The service provided by Jennie and the weight loss team at Spire Manchester Hospital will soon be accredited as a national centre of excellence and Jennie has been recognised for her contribution in setting up and delivering an out standing service to all weight loss patient treated at the hospital.
"I have attended this conference for many years, as do most of the clinical dietitian professionals and being invited to speak is a huge honour" Jennie said.
Jennie will be speaking on the topic of nutritional dificiances post bariatric surgery at the BAPEN conference which will be held in November 2010.
