I have been a consultant endocrine and breast surgeon for 10 years and an active member of the British Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
Adrenal surgery: I run a tertiary referral service for adrenal tumours and have undertaken over 50 laparoscopic adrenalectomies.
Thyroid surgery: I have undertaken over 250 thyroidectomies and specialise in difficult retrosternal goitres.
Parathyroid surgery: I have undertaken over 200 parathyroidectomies with a 98% cure rate. I undertake localised parathyroidectomy (minimally invasive parathyroidectomy) using SPECT Sesta MIBI scanning and ultrasound pre operatively.
Breast surgery: I have 10 years experience of breast lump diagnosis and treatment and have a specialist interest in adult breast pain, breast cancer and children's breast disease.
