Professional profile:

Mr Yin graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University, China in 1984. He was appointed Clinical Lecturer in 1988 and Associate Professor in 1994 at Orthopaedic Institute of FMMU. This Institute is renowned for bone/soft tissue tumours and microsurgery.

He came to Liverpool in 1996 as Clinical Research Fellow and subsequently was appointed Clinical Lecturer in 1998. Mr Yin is now Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and also the sarcoma lead clinician in Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of bone and soft tissue tumours, shoulder/elbow disorders and peripheral nerve problems.

Personal profile:

Mr Yin is married with two children. He enjoys cycling and hill-climbing. He also likes all sorts of music, in particular classical music.
