I’m currently a senior consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and lead clinician for benign and malignant head and neck disorders which include the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the thyroid, salivary glands and throat.

I also routinely perform complex ear surgery for the treatment of ear infections and balance disorders. I offer a range of treatments which include surgery for nasal obstruction and surgery for chronic sinusitis. In addition I offer surgery for hearing loss, ear infections and balance disorders, surgery for benign and malignant thyroid and head and neck disorders.

I have completed a vast number of operations: more than 500 thyoidectomies; more than 300 parotidectomies; more than 1,000 mastoid and middle ear procedures; more than 1,000 procedures for nasal obstruction and chronic sinusitis.

After graduating in medicine in Milan (Italy) in 1986, I completed my postgraduate training in Liverpool and Sheffield in 2000. I then completed a prestigious fellowship in ear surgery in Sydney with Professor Paul Fagan.

In July 2001, I was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital.
