Elected Fellow Royal College of Physicians Ireland 1993 and London 1998.Appointed Consultant & University Senior Lecturer 1990, initially at Aintree Hospital (Walton & Fazakerley) and subsequently moved to Royal Liverpool University Hospital 1995 where I am currently Clinical Director of Gastroenterology and specialise mainly in Hepatology and Advanced Endoscopy. I am active in regional and national bodies concerned with Cancer and Training and am an active collaborator in research.
I live near Liverpool with my wife and family. I like to go sailing whenever I can and run to keep fit and sane. I enjoy music and good food.
