    I have been a consultant in general medicine and rheumatology since 1979 and have an active private practice at Murrayfield since it opened and also at 45 Rodney Street, Liverpool. My NHS practise is based at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I am also actively involved in research and hold an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at the University of Liverpool.
