I practice as a Consultant Neurologist at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool. I am Clinical Lead for Epilepsy Services, one of the largest tertiary referral services in the UK. I also provide an acute / general neurology service at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
I evaluate patients presenting with neurological symptoms, for example headaches, blackouts / ‘funny turns’, sensory symptoms, balance problems. As a General Neurologist I manage patients with a wide range of neurological disorders including migraine, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and neuromuscular disorders. I am a regional expert in the field of epilepsy.
I have trained in neurological centres across the UK, and have a higher degree in epilepsy research.
I live on the Wirral with my wife and two children. I have an active interest in sport, especially football, and in my much younger days I captained England Universities.
