Specifically, he has active clinical and research interests in ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy for varicose veins, leg ulcers, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), intermittent claudication, critical limb ischaemia, carotid artery disease, and lymphoedema
Personal profile:
Andrew Bradbury qualified with Honours from Edinburgh Medical School in 1985. He undertook his post-graduate training in general and vascular surgery in Scotland and London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and was awarded his MD Thesis in 1992. In 1996, Andrew was appointed Senior Lecturer and Consultant Surgeon at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. In February 2000, he took up the substantive Chair of Vascular Surgery at the University of Birmingham and was appointed Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Heartlands and Solihull NHS Trust (Teaching). Andrew is married with three daughters and enjoys music and tennis in his spare time.
