    Atul Khanna is an NHS consultant in Plastic surgery at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust and Walsall Manor Hospital NHS Trust. He graduated in 1983 and after completing his Plastic surgery training has been in consultant practice since 1998. He has a general plastic and cosmetic surgery practice with sub-speciality interests in body contouring surgery, facial rejuvenation and breast surgery.

    He is a member of numerous professional bodies including the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS). He has been council member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and Chairman of the British Medical Association, Birmingham. He is also Honorary Secretary of the West Midlands Regional Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery.

    He is actively involved in teaching and training and has been College tutor for Surgery for his NHS Trust. He has several publications in scientific peer reviewed journals and also acts as a reviewer for the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
