I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Spire Little Aston and University Hospital Birmingham Foundation Trust, Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust in Sutton Coldfield for over 18 years. I specialise in sports surgery performing open and arthroscopic surgery of the knee (including knee replacement), as well as joint arthroplasty, and robotically-assisted joint replacement surgery, Mako. My specialty also lies in the field of cartilage grafting.

Having completed my higher training in orthopaedics within the West Midlands I completed advanced surgical fellowships; the first in knee surgery (joint replacement and sports injuries) at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, the second in sports surgery at the Sports Medicine Centre, Calgary, Canada and also at the Naval Medical Centre in Balboa, USA.

I am the honorary club surgeon for Walsall Football Club, Birmingham City Football Club and In the past have been a team surgeon for West Bromwich. I also accept patients from Aston Villa Football Club.

I'm a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, World Orthopaedic Concern and the British Association of Knee Surgery.

I have published several articles in international journals and am regularly invited as an International Faculty and trainer abroad.

I am married with two daughters. I love many types of sport including hockey, cricket, football, skiing and scuba diving. I enjoy competing in several different annual sporting events for charity including running and I have previously climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
