Monique W. Hope-Ross, MB,BaO, Bch, MRCPI, FRCS FRCOphth, FRCP is an honorary consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre and Good Hope Hospital, an Honorary senior Clinical Lecturer at Birmingham University and an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

She trained at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Dublin, the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast and the Birmingham and Midland Eye Hospital. She was a research Fellow at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, New York. She has a special interest in cataract surgery and medical Ophthalmology. She has published over 30 articles and two book chapters. She has given courses and lectured extensively both nationally and on the international stage.

Her practice includes general Ophthalmology, with a special interest in cataract surgery and medical Ophthalmology, including diabetes and age-related macular degeneration.
