Mr Shiv Jain is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Heart of England Foundation Trust (Good Hope and Solihull Hopital).
Having completed his higher orthopaedic training, Mr Jain completed advanced surgical fellowships in joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and trauma from London, Birmingham and Nottingham.
Apart from general orthopaedics his special interests include hip and knee replacement surgery, personalised/customised knee replacements, arthroscopic surgery and sports injury.
He is actively involved in teaching of medical students and trainee surgeons and is honorary clinical tutor for the University of Birmingham Medical School. He has published papers in several scientific journals and regularly presents at national and international orthopaedic meetings.
The majority of Mr Jain's spare time is spent with his young family. He enjoys all types of sports, particularly cricket and badminton. He lives locally in Sutton Coldfield and enjoys travelling.
