Dr Tewary has been working with children now for more than 20 years. During this period he has accumulated a vast experience in general paediatric problems including tropical diseases and paediatric kidney and bladder disorders. He had his special interest training at University Hospital of Wales and Bristol's children's Hospital. Dr Tewary has also been awarded with 7 discretionary points for exceptional contribution to NHS from the year 2002. Putting highest importance to parents/patients’ anxieties, he believe's that none of their questions are irrelevant or can be ignored and need to be answered to their full understanding. Dr Tewary has recently been awarded with position of Associate Professor in Paediatrics at St George' University Medical School, Grenada.
Dr Tewary deals with all aspects of children’s medical problems from birth till the age of 16. This includes Headaches, Anaemia , Paediatric Asthma, Chronic disorders, Fits , faints and funny turns, Gastro-intestinal disorders ,Pain abdomen, Concerns regarding growth & development, and any other problems with newborns. Having further special interest in Kidney/ bladder conditions he runs special clinics for Urinary Infections, Incontinence and Kidney / bladder abnormalities.
Dr Tewary is a father of 2 lovely young daughters. Apart from work, his other main concern is his family. He spends a lot of time with his children and socialising with common friends.
Dr Tewary is also a keen musician and participates in various Indian and English concerts. One of his albums is soon to be dedicated to National Blind Children’s Society.
Though time is a factor, Dr Tewary try to keep fit with Tennis and other sports.
