    Dr Hoey is a consultant radiologist with specialist expertise in cardiac and thoracic imaging, computed tomography and ultrasound. He underwent specialist training at Papworth hospital, Cambridge which is the UK’s premier heart and lung institute. Dr Hoey have a heavy research interest having published over 35 articles in international radiology journals. He has also authored 5 radiology textbooks covering the fields of ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Dr Hoey is a frequent speaker at international conferences and is an associate editor for the British Medical Association publishing group.
