Diane aims to provide the highest quality of physiotherapy to women with pelvic floor muscle dysfuntion and pregnancy related musculoskeletal problems. This includes conservative treatment for urinary and faecal incontinence, functional bowel problems, prolapse and pregnancy related back and pelvic girdle pain.
Working in in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Southern General Hospital (a busy teaching hospital in Glasgow) from 1989 - 2010 enabled the development of a special interest in pelvic floor muscle training and research links with Glasgow Caledonian University. For the last seven years, Diane has been actively involved in researching the role of physiotherapy in the management of prolapse. The difficulities encountered by women when trying to exercise with pelvic floor weakness and ante and post-natal aches and pains led her to train and qualify as a pilates instructor in 2004.

Diane enjoys exercise especially walking, pilates, skiing and cycling. This is counter balanced by a love of cooking and reading.
In 2009 she cycled across the Rockies with Marie Curie Cancer Care and completed the Moonwalk in Edinburgh for Breast Cancer Research 2010.
