Before his retirement from the NHS at the end of 2008 Mr Thomas had worked as an ENT surgeon in Leicester for 31 years and has a special interest in otology and paediatric otology, as well as rhinology. He liaised very closely with the sleep laboratory at Leicester General Hospital.  Mr Thomas was doctor to the Great Britain hockey team for ten years and doctor to the British Olympic team in Los Angeles, Seoul and Barcelona.
Mr Thomas is also the current chaiman of the board of trustees of the Leicestershire & Rutland Hospice (LOROS).

Since retiring Mr Thomas now undertakes only medical-legal work.

 

 

Personal profile:
Mr Thomas is married to Sally and have two children, Matthew and Kate.
In an active capacity Mr Thomas is still enjoying hockey, squash, golf and cricket as well as enjoying travelling.
