I am the senior consultant in the ENT department of University Hospitals Leicester. My practice covers all aspects of ENT conditions but I run specialist clinics for complex nose conditions, voice, reflux, swallow and cough problems, and ENT diseases in children.

I trained at the leading ENT departments throughout Britain and was awarded 5 prestigious scholarships to enable me to complete my training at world-renown centres in the USA and Holland.

As a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal Society of Medicine and the American College of Surgeons, I am one of only a few ENT consultants to hold fellowships from both sides of the Atlantic. 

I have lectured extensively throughout the world and have authored more than 150 peer reviewed national and international articles culminating in the award of “Certificate of Honor for Contributions to the Specialty” by the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

Previous posts include Secretary of the Otorhinolaryngological Society of Great Britain, and Board Member of the Royal Society of Medicine Otology section and I am currently on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Otorhinolaryngology.
