Professional profile:

I completed my medical qualification in India specialising in orthopaedics which particularly interested me because of the significant difference surgery made to my patients.

I undertook higher surgical training in Newcastle upon Tyne and completed fellowships in Toronto, Canada and in the UK. 

My special interests are in hip surgery in both young and  elderly patients, including hip replacement, hip resurfacing, hip revision surgery, surgery for impingement syndrome, knee replacement, knee revision  and arthroscopy of the knee for soft tissue pathology.

I am also invloved in under-graduate and post-graduate medical training.

Personal profile:

I enjoy spending time with my family and in my spare time walk, run, listen to music and indulge my interest in motorbikes.
