Mrs Kapur- Singhal obtained her medical degree from Delhi University, India, followed by specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, obtaining her medical degree with thesis from Delhi University. She came to the UK and obtained her MRCOG in 1997. Having worked in a variety of hospitals in Scotland and the Midlands, Mrs Kapur- Singhal completed her specialist training in 2004, and has worked as a consultant at the University Hospitals of Leicester since 2005. Her special interests lie in high risk obstetrics and menstrual disorders. She provides a general gynaecology service at Leicester General Hospital including a wide range of surgical procedures like prolapse repair, endometrial ablations, hysterectomy etc.
Mrs Kapur-Singhal was born and brought up and did her medical degree in Delhi, India. She is married to a GP and has two children. When she is not practising medicine she is a dedicated mother, cook, gardener and cleaner! Mrs Kapur- Singhal enjoys singing and spending time with her close friends and family.
