Dr Collett is a consultant in pain management and anaesthesia. She has an interest in all aspects of pain management and this includes treating pain from malignant and non-malignant conditions. Dr Collett has special interests in pelvic pain, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, whiplash injury and cancer pain. Dr Collett as an out-patient session weekly at Spire Leicester Hospital and a regular nerve blocking session. Patients will receive a full assessment and then a discussion before proceeding to treatment. Dr Collett is currently President of the Pain Society and she continues as a representative on the Patient Liaison Standing Sub-committee. In addition, Dr Collett sits on the Royal College of Anaesthetists Patient Liaison Group and has lectured both nationally and internationally on several aspects of pain management.
