Professional profile:

I am a consultant paediatric surgeon and qualified at St Mary's London in 1987. I became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992 and obtained the intercollegiate fellowship in paediatric surgery in 1999. My training in paediatric surgery took place in London at St George's, then Royal London, Kings and Great Ormond Street. I was a consultant at the Royal London Hospital before moving to Leeds in 2002. My current practice includes general paediatric surgery, hernia repair, orchidopexy, circumcision, minimally invasive procedures (laparoscopic fundoplication, cholecystectomy), endoscopy and oncology.
