Mr Jamie Woodhead's practice covers all aspects of ENT, head and neck and thyroid surgery. His philosophy is to ensure that consultations are conducted in a friendly but professional manner, with full explanations of the patient's condition and any proposed treatments. He maintains his continuing education by regular attendance at professional meetings.

Mr Woodhead qualified from Birmingham University in 1982, and undertook his ENT training in Birmingham, Leicester and Yorkshire (including a spell in New Zealand). He became a consultant in Leeds in 1995.

The majority of patients Mr Woodhead sees are treated as outpatients, but he has a weekly operating list for all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT surgery, including thyroid surgery.

Mr Jamie Woodhead has been married since 1980 and has three children, two of whom have now left home for further education.

Mr Woodhead plays the piano and keyboard regularly, is part of the music group at his church and is sometimes even called upon to sing!  He tries to keep fit by playing football twice a week, and enjoys sailing dinghies and yachts.

He is also a keen collector of Swedish philately, something his family fails to understand!
