    I am a consultant anaesthetist with wide experience of general and local anaesthesia techniques over the last 20 years. I am specialist trained in anaesthesia for brain and spinal cord surgery. I have specialist interests in neuro-intensive care especially brain trauma. I also work with surgeons specialising in stomach disorders, obesity, orthopaedics and gynaecology and have developed specific anaesthetic techniques for newer operations within these disciplines.
    Personal profile:
    I am happily married and have two sons in their "teens". I enjoy outdoor activities, walking, fishing and horticulture. I like most classical and contemporary music and sing in church or with local groups (when I have time). My wife Margaret works as a nurse for the NHS.
