I see people with all neurological conditions affecting the brain and peripheral nervous system. Referrals are accepted from general practitioners and other specialists. All kinds of neurological investigation and treatment can be arranged. After studying at Oxford and St Bartholomew's Hospital I trained in London at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and completed a research study into neuroimmunological disorders at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square. I was appointed a consultant in 1987 and have developed a wide experience of all neurological disorders over the last 20 years.

Common neurological disorders are headaches, dizziness and blackouts, fits or faints of various sorts. Neurologists also deal with epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other diseases of the nervous system.

I am married to a nurse doing research into vascular disease at the University of Leeds. I have three grown up children. I am interested in medico-legal topics and medical history. I relax by playing in Guiseley Brass Band and gardening.
