    I am an experienced general adult pyschiatrist. I worked as a consultant pyschiatrist at Leeds Mental Health Trust between 1984-2006. I now work full-time in private practice.

    My undergraduate training was in Dublin and my post-graduate training was in Leeds. I also spent six months at the Maudsley Hospital in London as an honorary senior registrar. I have a wide range of experience. I spent ten years as chairman of the Leeds Mental Health Trust Drugs and Therapeutic Committee which advises on pharmacological products used in mental illness. I continued my postgraduate studies/education through the Andrew Sims Centre in Leeds and meetings of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I am in a peer review group with consultant colleagues at the Leeds Mental Health Trust.
