      Dr Colin Pease is a consultant physician who qualified at The Royal London Hospital in 1976. He won an ARC fellowship at the bone and joint research unit for a year and then joined the rheumatology registrar rotation at the Charing Cross/Westminster hospitals. He was appointed consultant at Leeds General Infirmary in 1989.

      Dr Pease has published extensively on polymyalgia rheumatica, late onset rheumatoid arthritis and Sjögrens. In the last few years he has been Honorary Secretary and an Executor of the British Society for Rheumatology. He is a Board member of the British Sjögren's Society and is President of the Ilkley-Otley branch of Arthritis Care.
