IVF Scotland in Edinburgh belongs to a UK-wide network of fertility centres and satellite units called Spire Fertility, which launched in 2010. This network better enables our team in Edinburgh to provide a comprehensive range of fertility services and treatments, including access to some treatments and diagnostics that may not be available at IVF Scotland, such as pre-implantation genetic screening and surrogacy.
Spire Fertility includes the renowned Harley Street centre of fertility excellence London Fertility Centre (LFC), which joined and helped establish the Spire Fertility network in 2010. LFC has been established in London for over 20 years and brings a wealth of fertility treatment experience and expertise.
If there are treatments you wish to have, or that your consultant would prescribe, but that are not currently catered for at IVF Scotland, such as surrogacy and preimplantation genetic screening, we can refer you to LFC, or for treatment abroad, within the Spire Fertility network.
