IVF Scotland is based within Spire Shawfair Park Hospital, which was opened by Spire Healthcare in 2010. Shawfair Park joins the Murrayfield Hospital in creating Spire Edinburgh Hospitals to provide private specialist healthcare and treatment to patients within the Lothians, across Scotland and beyond.
Spire Murrayfield Hospital has been caring for patients in Edinburgh and beyond since opening in 1984, and now shares its clinical excellence and long-standing in the Edinburgh healthcare community with Shawfair Park and its bespoke IVF Scotland fertility unit. As such, if your care at IVF Scotland requires that you be treated as an in-patient, you will be transferred to Spire Murrayfield Hospital.
For some elements of fertility treatment you and/or your partner (if applicable) may be required to spend periods of time at IVF Scotland, within Spire Shawfair Park Hospital, Edinburgh. As such we've designed our centre to be comfortable, discreet and private. There's free Wi-Fi throughout the clinic and hospital so even if your treatment means you have to take time out of your busy schedule, you can still keep up-to-date with committments at work and home.
More information about the hospitals are available on the Spire Murrayfield Hospital website and Spire Shawfair Park Hospital website.
