I am a Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon specialising in all aspects of cosmetic surgery including: breast enlargement/reduction, face lift, tummy tuck, nose job and ear correction. My main current areas of research are head and neck and skin cancer management and also in facial palsy. I believe that patients must have a comprehensive understanding of the potential benefits and risks of their treatment, and I appreciate that each patient is an individual and I work with them to provide a bespoke package of care.
I graduated from Leeds Medical School in 1997. I pursued my Basic Surgical Training in Yorkshire and London. I began my career in plastic surgery in 2001 and have trained in units in London and across Yorkshire. I completed my Specialist Training in 2010 and undertook a prestigious Interface Specialty Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology in 2011.
I have published articles on a wide range of subjects in plastic surgery journals and presented at national and international meetings.
I am Honorary Senior Clinical Tutor for Hull York Medical School. I am extensively involved in training the next generation of plastic surgeons and medical students and am an Honorary Senior Clinical Tutor at the Hull York Medical School. I have trained extensively in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery and appreciate the enormous positive impact that well performed and appropriate cosmetic surgery can have on a patients self esteem and quality of life.
