As a consultant in urology I treat a wide variety of general urological conditions. These conditions include benign prostate diseases, benign scrotal diseases and recurrent cystitis. In addition to general urological conditions, I have a specialist interest in bladder and prostate cancer. I perform open and minimally-invasive surgery for bladder and prostate cancer.

I graduated from Leeds University medical school in 2000 and subsequent surgical and urological training has been in the Yorkshire and Humber postgraduate deanery. I attained the degree of PhD from the department of biology, University of York in 2009 after a successful period of research into bladder dysfunction. During my training in Leeds, I developed skills in performing major surgery for bladder cancer and robotic surgery for prostate cancer.

Following the completion of higher surgical training in urology in 2013, I was appointed to the post of Consultant Urologist at Castle Hill Hospital.

Myself and my family enjoy life and are settled in the East Riding of Yorkshire. I have a wife and three children and, out of work, a lot of my spare time is spent with my family. I have an interest in a variety of sports; I play golf regularly and am a member of the village pool team. I enjoy travelling and am a keen skier.
