Mr Devarajan gained his MBBS and subsequent MS(Ortho) degrees in India and moved to the UK to get advanced training in trauma and orthopaedics. He completed specialist orthopaedic training in the Oswestry/Stoke and the North West Rotation and obtained his CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedics in October 2006. He developed a sub specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery and also completed a Fellowship in Adult Lower Limb Reconstructive surgery. He trained in Wrightington and Wigan, Royal Preston, Stepping Hill, Royal Blackburn and North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary whilst gaining the above specialist experience. He provides a comprehensive, evidence based complex fore foot and hind foot tertiary referral work in addition to routine knee surgery. He is also proficient in dealing with sports injuries to the knee and ankle. He is well versed in advanced minimally invasive and uni- compartmental joint replacement surgery of the knee. The services he provides include, Routine forefoot Surgery, Hind foot surgery, Knee replacement surgery, Minimal invasive knee surgery, Uni compartmental knee replacement, Ligament reconstruction of ankle and knee, Arthroscopic surgery of knee and ankle, Complex and revision forefoot work.

On a personal note, Mr Devarajan enjoys playing racquet sports especially badminton and he likes to do a bit of hill walking. He enjoys travelling and is a keen photographer. He is also a keen cricket and Formula 1 racing fan. He is a bit obsessive about being a perfectionist in most aspects of his life.
